Do you prefer to work with certain photographers?

We do like to work with professional wedding photographers with experience and a great sense for how weddings roll, how light works and how to anticipate key moments of the day. We have a list of some of our favourite Adelaide wedding photographers on our love list, but we’re open to working with any great photographers. Our aim is always to stay out of their way when we need to and to work seamlessly alongside them as professionals.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. We adore destination weddings and we’d love to hear more about your plans.

How long before we can expect to feast our eyes on our amazing wedding film?

You’ll be watching your film and reliving the day in approximately 6-8 weeks.

Do we feed you on our wedding day?

We don’t expect a seat and meal amongst your guests but dinner would be appreciated if we are present during meal service

We love your work … how do we lock you in? 

Great! Send us an email and we’ll reply with a link to your booking proposal. Follow the links, put down a deposit and we’re all yours.

What different options do you offer and how much do you charge?

We have two main offerings and you’ll find them here. If you need something a little more tailored to your day, be sure to drop us a message.

Do we meet with you before the wedding day?

We’d love to get to know you a bit better, but it’s not essential for us to meet face to face for this to happen. Although we do love an excuse to have a coffee in the sunshine at our favourite Cafe next door to our studio.

How do you schedule your day?

We do our best to align our schedule with your Photographer timeline. We check in with them before the day to make sure we’re on the same page and things run smoothly for you on the big day. Our schedule may vary depending on the coverage option chosen, and we’ll work through this in more detail with you as we come closer to your date. This is our full-time gig so we’re never far away - available via phone, email or instagram / facebook.

How do you choose the music for our film? 

We pay copyright fees to use all the music in our films. We choose songs to suit the pace and emotions of the day and our editing style.

What happens if our booked cinematographer breaks a leg or get covid-19 right before out wedding?

We have a team of experienced creatives and working relationships with a swag of incredible video artists in the wedding industry, so we’re well placed to offer an exceptional replacement. We’ll check in to ensure you’re happy with any changes. We’re pleased to report no one’s broken any limbs thus far.

Why are you called Likewise Films?

Before starting Likewise Films 5 years ago Luke had already been a wedding photographer for well over a decade. During this time he discovered that it’s not always easy working with videographers, especially if the shooting style & vision for the wedding couple isn’t aligned or similar..we can get in the way of each other and mess with the natural flow of the day if we are constantly needing to reshoot things or shoot things differently to get the desired results for our client. So, we strive to work with photographers with a LIKEWISE mindset and approach to how a wedding is captured / photographed - how we see light & how we work with the couple being just a few things that are best to have fairly well aligned on the day. So, we have a list of wedding photographers (including Luke, but that does not mean you have to book Luke for your photography, there’s a tonne of incredible photographers on our PHOTOGRAPHER LOVE LIST.
